[17:23]<+camerongray> haha
[17:23]<+camerongray> Think Jacky set it up for me ages ago but I rarely rejoin so never see it
[17:23]<+camerongray> Also, check out my new fancy hostmask :P
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> camerongray.me is new
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> I had to scroll back to when you last joined to see the difference lol
[17:25]<+camerongray> haha
[17:25]<+camerongray> Yeah, my new ISP lets me have a static IP and set custom reverse DNS
[17:25]<+camerongray> Not bad for a single payment of £1
[17:25]<+camerongray> £5*
[17:26]<+camerongray> Only issue is that it is syncing at 40mbps rather than 80mbps
[17:26]<+camerongray> So either the ISP need to fix that, or reduce what I pay :P
[17:27]<+camerongray> But I have to wait 10 days because it is "training" or something
[17:29]<@BC_Programming> question, would a Xeon be better for games than a i7
[17:29]<@BC_Programming> somebody has practically no budget at all for a build and some of the suggestions seemed to have just sorted by price and chosen the highest one, so a lot of them have $2500 Xeons
[17:30]<+camerongray> Not at all, a Xeon would be pointless
[17:30]<+camerongray> You can get the extreme edition i7s if you want to go that far
[17:30]<+camerongray> But a Xeon gives no benefit over an i7 in that situation
[17:31]<@BC_Programming> yeah that was pretty much what I was thinking, after of course making fun of them for wanting quad SLI for running Embarcerdero C++ Builder and Minecraft
[17:31]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:31]<+camerongray> Some people do it to show off
[17:31]<+camerongray> I'm usually more impressed when I see a system well balanced for the person's needs rather than something ridiculous
[17:32]<@BC_Programming> yeah this GTX 770 wasn't very balanced lol :P
[17:32]<+camerongray> You do run at 1440p though so I'd say it is
[17:32]<@BC_Programming> though it will be utilized once GTAV comes out on the PC
[17:32]<+camerongray> Like my HTPC, it has the cheapest Celeron available in it yet that is plenty for its use - Far happier to see that rather than something completely stupid like an i7 in it
[17:42]<+camerongray> Also, I've finally moved flat!
[17:42]<+camerongray> And wow, what a difference
